Actvo is an AI-powered learning experience platform designed to help employees adopt a growth mindset and take ownership of their professional development. As an early-stage start-up, Actvo needed a public-facing website that clearly communicated their vision and purpose, articulated the product’s value to multiple audiences, and drove engagement and leads to support growth.
Working closely with the founder, I led the design of a website that tells Actvo’s story with clarity and purpose. One of the key challenges was balancing the needs of two core audiences:
The storytelling throughout the site was carefully structured to guide both audiences toward understanding how Actvo could help them achieve their goals—individually and organisationally.
The website’s visual language evolved directly from recent design work I’d led on the Actvo app itself. We had just completed a full UI overhaul, introducing a refreshed typographic system, updated colour palette, and a robust component library.
To maintain visual consistency and ensure efficient delivery, I reused and adapted existing components from the app. However, the website also presented an opportunity to elevate the design with a more expressive and engaging layer, given its marketing focus.
This came through in subtle but purposeful ways:
We built the site on Webflow using global componentry, making it fast to launch and easy to maintain—a vital consideration for a nimble start-up in a fast-moving space.
The result is a site that clearly communicates the Actvo brand and product value. It has become a key sales tool for the founder and a strong foundation for future marketing and growth initiatives.
